Bisquick™ Sausage Cheese Balls

Bisquick™ Sausage Cheese Balls

Superbowl Apps!  We’re going easy and vintage. Bisquick™ Sausage Cheese Balls! I loved these as a kid and still do as an adult.  They are super simple with just a few ingredients and you can put unique spins on them.

Plus, they can be made ahead and frozen. Bonus! Looking for an easy breakfast, because let’s face it, mornings are hectic?   Pull a few out of the freezer and bake.

Bisquick Sausage Cheese Balls
3 C Bisquick™
1 lb. raw bulk sausage
4 C sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 C milk

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.  It will seem really dry, but that’s okay.  Keep mixing. When all the ingredients are combined, pinch off dough and make balls about 1 1/2″ and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees for 22 minutes or until golden brown.  Enjoy!

*To freeze, roll in to balls, place on a baking sheet, put in freezer for 1 hour. Remove and put in a freezer bag and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
*change it up by adding spicy sausage or different cheeses.
*dip them in mustard, BBQ, ranch or buffalo sauce.  And for breakfast, try maple syrup.
